Vinh-Long: Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine in Nashville

This place is beyond amazing. Been here 20+ times already and this place never misses. The owner greets every customer that comes in and knows a lot of the regulars orders by heart. Comfy place to come and relax and get your belly full and warm!

Warning: cash only! This place was packed the Saturday afternoon that I went here. It’s a smaller, more intimate Vietnamese restaurant. My table ordered hot coffee, pho with extra meats, the carrot beef stew, spring rolls, and grilled squid body. Prices were very fair, especially since the small sized soups are *large*. Everything tasted amazing and leftovers were even better! The service was excellent. I will be returning and I’ll try to take pics next time.

Nashville’s Vietnamese food scene is seriously good, and Vinh-Long might just be a top 3 contender. They’re best known for their Bo Kho, but they were sold out by the time we arrived near closing. My girlfriend and I went with a large pho (emphasis on large), spring rolls, and tempura shrimp. The total came to around $27. The owner personally served us and was incredibly kind. He made sure to accommodate my no-pork restriction and even brought an extra bowl for sharing without us having to ask. The pho hit the spot. It was an enormous portion for $12, loaded with noodles and beef. The broth was savory, clean, and refreshing. The spring rolls were freshly wrapped with crisp veggies and came with an outstanding dipping sauce. The tempura shrimp wasn’t mind-blowing, but still solid, especially for the price (four large shrimp for $7). It’s cash only, so stop by an ATM beforehand. Final Score: 8.8 -> rounds to 5 stars Verdict: One of my favorite Nashville hole-in-the-wall spots. Unbeatable value and genuine service.

Taste of Bong Rieuv was awesome! Just everything in here must be cash only. Be aware of that.

Ordered the beef wonton soup, I was impressed with all the extras and vegetables. The price was good for the portion. The chili's were fresh and had great flavor. Neighborhood is questionable, had a bum come in and beg for money. Apparently that was her 3rd time coming in and begging.

This place is the best <3 They’re so friendly and the food truly is amazing. I’ve been here a few times and am never disappointed. The coffee is strong and delicious with an authentic flavor and quality. The Pho is fresh, not cloudy or dark (compliments to the chef) with all of the ingredients you want! Definitely a must have place if you’re in the area.

I recently enjoyed a delightful lunch at Vinh-Long, and it was a fantastic experience. We ordered the rare beef phò and egg rolls, both of which were absolutely delicious. The phò's broth stood out with its rich, savory flavor, perfectly complementing the tender slices of rare beef. Every spoonful was satisfying and warmly comforting. The egg rolls were a highlight as well. Crispy on the outside and bursting with flavor on the inside, they were the perfect accompaniment to our meal. Each bite offered a satisfying crunch, followed by a delicious blend of ingredients that left us craving more. A small note for future visitors: Vinh-Long only accepts cash, so be sure to come prepared. The friendly service and cozy atmosphere made our dining experience even more pleasant. Whether you’re a phò enthusiast or just in search of a tasty meal, Vinh-Long is definitely worth a visit. Their flavorful dishes and welcoming vibe make it a place to remember. Highly recommended!

the customer service is always unmatched here! the food is phenomenal every time my family & i take out here at least once a week sometimes several. we always get pints of the beef pho and pork fried gyoza! not to mention this is probably one of the most cost efficient places to eat in nashville with an adequate amount of food!!
